Applications are invited for a purely temporary post of Junior Research Fellow in a project funded by SERB entitled “Study the metabolome, transcriptome and proteome of Khera Dapini (Premna herbacea), an important medicinal and wild vegetable crop widely used in Northeast India 

Eligibility /Qualification required: M.Sc in any branch of biological sciences/ Bioinformatics. The candidate should be CSIR/UGC/NET/GATE qualified.

Desirable: Candidates with prior experience of working in transcriptomes /non coding RNAs analysis, marker genotyping (SSRs/SNP), plant metabolite analysis, Protein extraction and analysis, Basic molecular Biology and plant pathology areas.

Fellowship amount: Rs 25,000/ + Permissible House Rent Allowance

Tenure: The position is purely temporary, renewable after one year and will continue until May 2022 (the end of project) based on satisfactory performance.
